In discussions, I realized that there were no less than 10 different projects in progress just on my workbench...not counting others that were put away or waiting to start!! Project pileup is real!!

As for the locomotive, it looks fantastic. My CN4803 in my Toronto Railway Museum collection is a Bachmann Geep, it is a great starting point for customization as they are cheap, relatively speaking. I don't feel bad making mistakes or cutting things up when I start with something that doesn't feel like it broke the bank to start with!

Hope you are keeping well!

StephenStephen Gardinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16074410843831069777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5807818366755087334.post-51766826106215185062022-01-28T23:00:05.608-05:002022-01-28T23:00:05.608-05:00Thanks for the confirmation! Yes, the railroad repainted two units in the as-delivered scheme in the late 1970s (early "heritage" units??).
I remember one of the guys in the St. Albans shop telling me they used paint from the local JD dealer to repaint them. Two parts JD Green to one part JD Yellow. Not sure if that's a fact or urban legend.
CVSNEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17875631602890773160noreply@blogger.com
