Railway Modellers Meet of B.C. 2023 Reminder

Just to remind you that tomorrow evening, I'll be presenting a virtual clinic about modelling the Pre-CNR era at Railway Modellers Meet of B.C. 2023. Registration is mandatory but free here.

You can find the schedule for the entire Virtual Prologue event here. My clinic will be hosted between 19:05 and 19:50 PST (Pacific Standard Time), or 22:05 and 22:50 EST (Eastern Standard Time).

It has been a really fun clinic to prepare and lots of new cars have been painted for you to enjoy!

  1. Matthieu, this is actually in response to your previous post "Thinking Outside the Room": your observation that a very large percentage of prototype operation is/was outside of towns/yards was a "eureka" moment for me! I have been struggling with plans for a very small layout representing a prototype whose main feature is a 5% grade between a small yard and a quarry. Trying to fit in a yard left little room to "showcase " the grade. Thank you for opening my mind! Brian G.

  2. I enjoyed your RMMBC presentation, Matthieu. Especially the lengths you went to in preparing the decals and representing the rolling stock as accurately as you could. Also, the scope of your presentation was great!
Thanks for sharing your experiences in research and modelling!

    1. Thanks Eric! Glad you liked it. I wasn't sure if it would fit the format but it seems to have worked!
